Web Store Manager is your own
personal web assistant in a box. With this software you will
be able to manage all aspects of your new web store without
paying the high cost for a skilled person to manage your site.
Everything in software has been
designed so that someone with just some basic knowledge of
a PC will be able to set-up and manager their web store.

The product section
of the software has a graphical
interface for entering all of your product information.
You even have the ability to Scan,
Paste, or Browse for images. Then the images
can be resized just by using the slider bar in the
imaging screen.
It also include an
option for setting up your option
files for each of the products in your web store.

| The software
includes simple upload features for uploading
your products, option files, and images. It will even
remember which options and images have been changes
so that you only have to upload the ones that are
needed, saving you time when uploading. |
| The order
importer will allow you to download any orders that
have been placed on your site into the Web Store Manager
database.
Once the orders have
been downloaded a blank order file will be uploaded,
and you have reports that you can view with the
information. The first is a printable
invoice of the orders that you just downloaded,
and the second is a credit cart report for those
that do manual processing of credit cards.
In order to use this
feature you will have to modify commerce.cgi according
to the instructions in the help section of the software.
It is just one simple modification and all of the
code is included.

| This gives
you the ability to have a subscribable
mailing list on your site that you can use to
notify your customers of specials and upcoming events.
You can download your list of names from your site
and then send them all a message very simply.
We are still working
of the code that will allow you to do this on your
site. We are also working on code so that you can
have a check box on the order form giving the customer
an option to subscribe to the list.

| The order
checker is a utility mainly for those of you out
there with dedicated Internet connections. This program
can be run on your task bar, and scheduled to check
and see if you have order. If you do have orders then
the icon will change from blue to yellow so that you
know you have orders. |
| Our editor
is basically a simple rich
text editor with a few added twists. First you
can write up your text with different fonts and colors
and then save it to your local hard drive as an rtf
file. Once this is done you can press the upload button
and the the text will be converted to HTML and uploaded
to your web site with the same filename as you save
it to locally.
There is also a header.htm
and footer.htm file in the program directory that
can be modified so that when the page is converted
to HTML the header and footer will be imported into
the file before uploading it.
This program works
great for those employment opportunities, or upcoming
events pages that have to modified on a regular
basis.

| Last but
not least there is a database utility for backing
up and restoring your database. This works great for
backing up your product and orders databases so that
you can move them to another computer, or just to
have backups of your information.
It also includes a
compacting and repair utility. The repair utility
can be run if your database becomes corrupted for
some reason, and the compacting program should be
run every once in a while just to keep the size
of your database from getting to large.
